Time has come to:
- Discourage mindset tied on aid dependence and to encourage mindset focus on self-reliance.
- Discourage short-time solutions and promote sustainable solutions.
Our name comes from two words: HABI and ELITE.
1. HABI
From the name of our principal founder Mr. HABIMANA Hakizumwami whom we consider as our pioneer and whom was himself inspired by the refugee life that he has experienced once upon time before being resettled abroad. He then felt concerned and decided to help and advocate for those whom he had left behind.
2. ELITE
We meant that our aim is of transforming the lowest social class of refugees and host community to the highest one by providing them with high class services.
Our Mission
Bringing hope and happiness back to our communities by transforming them from aid dependence life to self-contained one.
Our Vision
A society of happy people, where all individuals especially youth and women, reach their highest level of potential for self-reliance and get to their best life environment.
